Cars in German City Found Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Law Enforcement Report

Police stated they were alerted by a man who noticed a vehicle in Hanau smeared with red-colored fluid

Approximately fifty cars have been covered with what appears to be blood from a person in the German town of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, as reported by law enforcement.

Vehicles, building surfaces and mailboxes were marked, sometimes with prohibited symbols, they reported in a official communication.

Law enforcement report they were contacted late on Wednesday night, when a individual noticed that a automobile in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been marked with a reddish liquid.

The substance had been applied in the form of a swastika, they reported.

Law enforcement then found many other vandalized automobiles and house walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under laws prohibiting the visible presentation of Nazi symbols.

Police say early analysis indicate the fluid was most likely blood from a person.

"There is still no indication as to its source; authorities are presently not informed of any harm in connection with the incident," they stated.

City officials stated they were attempting "to solve the incident" and have asked to the residents for details.

A senior representative said the incident rendered him stunned and required to be solved quickly.

"This incident affects the center of Hanau and reawakens the wounds of the right-wing terrorist attack in 2020," he stated on online, recalling the murder of nine victims by a assailant targeting people of immigrant origin in February 2020.
